LaGarde add inventory tracking system to StoreFront 5.0

LaGarde has introduced StoreFront 5.0 AE, which is boasts a host of new features, including a sophisticated inventory tracking system.

StoreFront 5.0 AE's flagship feature is its revolutionary inventory management system, which allows merchants to manage stock levels for all products and their individual attributes, such as size or color. Merchants have the option to designate products eligible for backorder and specify whether or not the software will charge for backordered products at the time of checkout or when they are shipped. StoreFront 5.0 AE also enables merchants to specify minimum stock levels for each product and will notify the merchant by e-mail once that level is reached, allowing merchants to ensure that their product inventories are always kept up to date. Merchants are also given the option to indicate whether they would like stock levels to display on product pages and in search results.

In addition to its new inventory-tracking module, StoreFront 5.0 AE adds enterprise-level functionality, including multi-tier pricing, coupon support, subcategories, gift wrapping, wish list and additional customer management tools. These new components, in conjunction with StoreFront 5.0 SE's powerful feature set, provide web developers and merchants alike with the necessary tools to build highly enhanced, professional e-commerce web sites.

LaGarde has also partnered with several leading companies to integrate new shipping and transaction processing services into the StoreFront 5.0 AE platform. In addition to the already supported UPS, USPS and Federal Express real-time shipping rates, StoreFront 5.0 AE adds Canada Post and DHL for international shipping and freightquote.com's LTL carriers to accommodate larger shipments. LaGarde is also catering to its rapidly growing global customer base by integrating WorldPay's international online transaction processing services into StoreFront 5.0 AE.
