Websandwich launches new customer interaction management service
[October 17th 2000]
Websandwich Inc has, announced today the launch of a new Customer Interaction Management Solution, also called Websandwich. Geared towards small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Websandwich will provide an under-serviced market with the tools necessary to record, monitor, and evaluate their communications with their clients.
"Websandwich was created as a vehicle for significantly improving levels of customer service and satisfaction in a sector that relies on good client relationships for survival," says Patrick Batty, president of Websandwich Inc. "There is an urgent and growing need for an intelligent, efficient way to track and maintain customer service communications - increasingly offered online. Unmanaged email communications between customers and corporate service desks simply do not give companies sufficient control over the process or quality of their service response. Websandwich permits companies to oversee and improve this element in their service portfolio with real efficiency and effectiveness."
The browser-based customer support service allows the user to track and manage all inbound and outbound client communication over the Internet. Emails, enquiries, and problems are automatically and appropriately recorded, escalated, and routed with the service, while telephone or fax communications can be recorded manually and fully managed. In addition, Websandwich can track queries and problems from the moment they are received until they are finalized or resolved. They are then saved for future reference. A user can access the service from anywhere in the world as long as they have Internet access.
"To manage this process, large enterprises typically use applications that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars," explains Batty. "Smaller companies, which must be even more responsive to their customers, need an inexpensive, easy-to-use solution that will provide quality support to their clients. It is an absolute imperative to their success."
Websandwich will be offering the service through some major remarketing channels, such as telecommunications providers, ISPs, B2B marketplaces, and Web portals. Websandwich is also sold directly at Websandwich.com and is offered as a service from $69 per month.
